MTC Parklea Correctional Officer Trainee Application

Hello, everyone!

I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experience or is currently working at the MTC Parklea Correctional Facility.

I completed my medical assessment a week ago, but I haven’t heard back from them yet.

Could anyone share their experiences regarding the length of the recruitment process for correctional officer trainees? How many weeks should I expect to wait for an update on my application? Thank you!

  1. Hello!

I don’t have personal experience with the MTC Parklea Correctional Facility, but I can share what I know about the recruitment process for correctional officer trainee positions. Generally, the recruitment process can take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on various factors such as the number of applicants and the specific facility’s hiring procedures.

Since you’ve completed your medical assessment, it may take some time for them to finalize the evaluations and make decisions. It’s not uncommon to wait at least 2 to 4 weeks for an update after the medical assessment. However, if you haven’t heard anything after that period, it might be a good idea to reach out to their HR department for any updates on your application status.

Best of luck with your application!
