I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experience or is currently working at the MTC Parklea Correctional Facility.

I completed my medical assessment a week ago, but I haven’t heard back from them yet.

Could anyone share their experiences regarding the length of the recruitment process for correctional officer trainees? How many weeks should I expect to wait for an update on my application? Thank you!

It’s not uncommon to wait at least 2 to 4 weeks for an update after the medical assessment. However, if you haven’t heard anything after that period, it might be a good idea to reach out to their HR department for any updates on your application status.
