Title: Craving Authentic Salt & Vinegar Chips!

Hello, everyone!

I’ve just returned to Australia after three years abroad and couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into some salt and vinegar chips. However, I’ve been quite disappointed—none of them taste like I remember! They all seem so bland and watered down. I’m on the hunt for that bold, tangy flavor I crave.

I’ve tried Kettle, Smith’s, Lays, Red Rock, Natural Chip Company, Keoghs, and Tyrell’s, but none have hit the mark.

Before I head back overseas, I really hope to find those classic salt and vinegar chips!

By the way, I’m in Perth if that helps with recommendations.

Thanks a bunch!

  1. Welcome back to Australia! I totally get your craving for that intense salt and vinegar flavor. If you’re looking for something stronger than what you’ve already tried, I suggest checking out Griffin’s chips if you haven’t already. They can have a pretty bold flavor.

Another option you might not have tried is Thins – they sometimes pack a punch with their flavors. Also, some local specialty chip brands or gourmet food stores might carry unique or stronger options that you can’t find in the mainstream brands.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you could also try making your own! Just grab some plain chips and drizzle them with extra vinegar or even a sprinkle of salt for that extra kick!

Hope you find the nostalgic taste you’re looking for before you head back! Enjoy!
