As a New South Wales supporter, the game started off with such promise, but it quickly turned sour. What made it particularly painful to watch was the sheer number of errors from both sides. Dropped balls, missed tackles, and penalties seemed to pile up — it felt like neither team could find their rhythm.

Worse yet, the game was marred by controversy over some referee decisions that left fans feeling cheated.
