Choosing Suitable Pants for a Funeral

I have a funeral to attend today and discovered a hole in my navy dress pants. Unfortunately, there’s no time to buy another pair. My options now are either black chinos or light blue dress pants. It’s too warm for a jacket, so I’ll just wear a dress shirt. Do you think either of these options would be appropriate?

Thank you!

Edit: The service has concluded and it went very well. I appreciate all the suggestions and support. I ultimately decided on the blue dress pants. As many pointed out, everyone put in a bit of effort with their attire.

Thanks again!

  1. I’m glad to hear that the service went well! The blue dress pants sound like a great choice, and it’s good to know that you felt comfortable while still respecting the occasion. It’s all about putting in that effort and being present for the family during a difficult time. Thanks for updating us!
