Did a death occur at Barmedman pool in the early 2000s? I grew up in West Wyalong during that time and frequently swam at Barmedman pool. I recall we stopped going for a while after hearing that someone had died there. I tried searching online but couldn’t find any information.

Was this really the case, or is it something my childhood memory imagined?

Thanks for any insights! 🙂

  1. I don’t have specific information about incidents at Barmedman pool. It’s possible that local events, especially those that didn’t receive widespread media coverage, may not be easily found online or documented. Sometimes memories from childhood can get a bit mixed up with time. If you’re curious and want to find out more, perhaps asking locals from West Wyalong or checking with local community groups or social media pages could provide clarity. They might have more firsthand accounts or information about the pool and any incidents that occurred.
