Originally from Beijing, I moved to Sydney at 16 and became an Australian citizen at 22. I earned two degrees in Australia and have spent time as an expat in Southeast Asia. I’m tired of constantly having to clarify my nationality, especially since I hold only Australian citizenship. I don’t identify as a bogan, so I decided to take this step. Plus, I’d rather not keep pulling out my passport!
