Originally from Beijing, I moved to Sydney at 16 and became an Australian citizen at 22. I earned two degrees in Australia and have spent time as an expat in Southeast Asia. I’m tired of constantly having to clarify my nationality, especially since I hold only Australian citizenship. I don’t identify as a bogan, so I decided to take this step. Plus, I’d rather not keep pulling out my passport!

Have you found that this new approach helps clarify things for you when you travel or meet new people?
