As a dedicated consumer of local content, I find myself reflecting on what programs currently hold my interest and what upcoming releases I’m excited to tune into.
Recently, my TV time has been somewhat limited. I used to watch “Have You Been Paying Attention?” regularly, but that series concluded its season a little while ago. I also caught a few episodes of “Sam Pang Tonight,” though I haven’t watched it consistently, and “Talking ‘Bout Your Generation” has also wrapped up for the year.
One staple in my viewing schedule has been “Neighbours,” which I tune into four nights a week. It’s been quite enjoyable and continues to be a comforting fixture in my routine. Unfortunately, many of the shows I follow—aside from Neighbours—are coming to an end soon, with this current season wrapping up for good.
Looking ahead, I’m excited about a couple of upcoming Australian reality shows that promise to deliver engaging entertainment in the New Year. “Traitors” Season 3 is highly anticipated, and I look forward to seeing how the competition unfolds. Additionally, “Australian Survivor” remains a favorite, offering intense strategic gameplay and resilience testing, and I can’t wait for its next installment.
On the scripted drama front, I recently heard about a new series called Reckless, shot in Perth—my hometown. It has garnered positive buzz, and I’m eager to see how it develops. For binge-watching options, I’ve been considering catching up on “Austin,” “Deadloch,” and “Colin from Accounts,” each of which has received commendations for their storytelling and originality.
