Title: Exciting Updates to AusPost Parcel Tracking Notifications

In a recent communication, AusPost announced an upcoming enhancement to their parcel tracking notifications, set to take effect on May 19, 2025. This improvement aims to provide customers with greater transparency during the delivery process by incorporating a new feature in the AusPost app.

Starting next month, users will be able to view attempted delivery photos taken by the delivery personnel. This function will be rolled out gradually over a two-week period, offering customers a visual confirmation of the delivery attempt. This initiative not only keeps recipients informed but also assures them when a parcel cannot be left at the doorstep.

While the fundamental process of parcel delivery will remain unchanged, AusPost maintains its commitment to thorough communication. Delivery personnel will continue to knock three times on the door before determining if they can leave the parcel. If the delivery is unsuccessful, customers will receive notifications detailing the attempt and subsequent information regarding the parcel’s availability for collection.

Notably, the delivery team will capture images of the front door area during an attempted delivery, providing additional context for recipients. This new approach is yet another step by AusPost to enhance customer experience and ensure smooth communication throughout the delivery process. Stay tuned as this exciting feature is rolled out!
