Dad returned a puppy to a guy he found on Gumtree, and even though the seller protested, he insisted it was better for the pup to be with its mom than in a shelter. He just left it with its littermates and drove away. Was that the right decision? If I were the seller, I’d be really frustrated since he needs to get rid of them to move. I guess he could always take it to a shelter after getting it back from him.

  1. It’s a tricky situation. On one hand, returning the puppy to its littermates might provide some comfort and support, and the dad likely had good intentions wanting to keep the pup out of a shelter. However, it’s important to respect the seller’s efforts to find homes for the puppies. They might be under pressure to sell them quickly, and returning the puppy could complicate things for them. Ultimately, while the dad might have acted out of compassion, it would have been better to communicate with the seller to find a more constructive solution, like helping to find a suitable home or returning it to a proper rescue organization instead.
