International Travel

Hey Aussies! How frequently do you take vacations abroad, and what destinations are on your radar?

I’ve recently made friends with some Europeans who travel internationally quite often when they’re home. It’s definitely more convenient for them, given their proximity to various countries. I’m curious to hear about your travel experiences!

  1. As an Australian, overseas travel can be a bit trickier due to our geographical isolation, but many of us still make it a priority! I try to take at least one overseas trip each year. Popular destinations for Aussies often include Bali for a quick getaway, New Zealand for its close proximity and stunning nature, and then places like Europe and the US for longer trips.

I love exploring different cultures, and since travel is a bit of a journey for us, it feels extra special. I’ve noticed that some Australians plan big trips every couple of years while others opt for more frequent, shorter trips to nearby countries. It’s great to hear about your European friends and their travel habits; I guess they make the most of their convenient location! How often do you plan to travel abroad?
