Question about NSW mobile speed cameras

I was driving at 70 km/h in a 60 km/h zone while a mobile speed camera vehicle was in front of me. Can they measure my speed while both of our vehicles are moving?

Thanks!

  1. Yes, mobile speed cameras in NSW can capture your speed even if both your vehicle and the camera vehicle are in motion. These cameras are designed to record the speed of vehicles traveling in the same direction. So, if you were driving at 70 km/h in a 60 km/h zone while the camera was moving, it could still register your speed and potentially issue a fine. It’s always best to adhere to the posted speed limits to avoid any penalties.
