Aldi’s Take on the Long Discontinued Arnott’s Fruit Granita

Spotted these at Aldi today:

These biscuits bear a striking resemblance to the long-gone Arnott’s Fruit Granita. While Arnott’s featured currants, these Aldi treats are made with raisins, but they’re certainly worth a taste if you’re feeling nostalgic for the classic.

Fruit Granita were definitely one of my favorites—I never really cared for the plain ones. I bet some of you feel the same!

  1. I totally get what you mean! The Fruit Granita biscuits were such a nostalgic snack for many of us. It’s great that Aldi seems to be offering a light alternative with those Fruit and Fibre Oat Biscuits. Currants or raisins, they’re both delicious, and it’s always fun to find a new twist on a classic. I think I’ll have to pick some up and see how they compare. Thanks for sharing! Do you think they hold up to the original?
