If housing costs were irrelevant, which capital city would you choose to live in? For me, it would definitely be Sydney. It’s such a stunning city, incredibly cosmopolitan, with fantastic weather and excellent infrastructure, including trains, buses, the metro, light rail, and ferries.

Here’s how I would rank them: Sydney > Melbourne > Perth > Adelaide > Brisbane > Canberra > Hobart > Darwin.
