If housing costs were irrelevant, which capital city would you choose to live in? For me, it would definitely be Sydney. It’s such a stunning city, incredibly cosmopolitan, with fantastic weather and excellent infrastructure, including trains, buses, the metro, light rail, and ferries.

Here’s how I would rank them: Sydney > Melbourne > Perth > Adelaide > Brisbane > Canberra > Hobart > Darwin.

    Perth’s laid-back vibe and proximity to beautiful beaches are also appealing, and Adelaide has a great blend of city life and nature. What about Brisbane? I feel like it has a fantastic warm climate, but it sometimes doesn’t get as much recognition. Would love to hear your thoughts on that!
