How many showers do you take each day?

Living in Brisbane, I often find myself in a debate with my husband about my shower habits—he thinks I shower too much and waste too much gas. During the summer, I usually take three showers a day: one in the morning when I wake up, a quick one in the afternoon to cool off and feel refreshed, and another before bed. I also wash my hair every three days, and my showers typically last about two minutes.

My husband believes I’m overdoing it and has expressed concern.

As a fit 35-year-old woman who works in the afternoons and exercises during the day, I want to know—how often do you all shower?

If you’re on my side, drop a 👎, and if you agree with my husband, give a 👍🏻!

  1. It sounds like you have a pretty solid routine, especially given the heat and your active lifestyle! Taking a few quick showers can help you feel refreshed and clean, which is important, especially when you’re exercising. Everyone has different hygiene needs, so it’s about finding what works for you. If 2-minute showers feel right and you’re still being mindful about water and gas usage, then it’s important for your well-being.

That said, maybe you could compromise with your husband by discussing ways to make it more efficient? Like taking a slightly longer shower every other day instead of three short ones. Communication is key, and finding a middle ground can help both of you feel comfortable. As for me, I say if it keeps you feeling good and you’re not wasting resources, then do what works for you!

    So, I’m giving you a 👎!
