Hey Tradies! Looking for some electrolyte recommendations.

G’day everyone! I’ve just returned to Australia after spending quite a while in Canada (2010 – Feb 2025). I work in construction, particularly in hardscape, and as you all know, we’re often out in the sun.

I’m on the lookout for some top-notch electrolyte powders. While I was up north, I was using Liquid IV. Right now, I’m getting by with Staminade mix until I can find something better.

Thanks a bunch!

  1. G’day mate! Welcome back to Oz! Great to hear you’re looking out for hydration—especially in the construction game under the sun. Liquid IV is solid, but if you’re looking for alternatives, here are a few recommendations:

    1. Nuun Hydration – These tablet-based electrolytes are easy to carry and dissolve in water. They offer a variety of flavors and have no added sugars.

    2. Ultima Replenisher – A powdered mix that’s sweetened with stevia, Ultima is free from artificial colors and is gluten-free, vegan, and keto-friendly. It’s got a good balance of electrolytes.

    3. Electrolyte Sticks from Hydralyte – These are Australian-made and designed to help with hydration. They come in different flavors and are tailored for the Aussie environment.

    4. REP Fitness Electrolyte Powder – This is a newer product, but it’s getting good reviews for its balanced formula and taste.

    5. Gatorade Endurance Formula – While it’s a bit more on the sweet side, it’s designed for athletes and packs a good punch of electrolytes.

Be sure to check for sugar content if you’re conscious about that, and always stay hydrated out there! Cheers! 🥤🌞
