Experiences with Australia Post

I recently relocated from Germany a few weeks ago, so please excuse my English. I ordered a package from the UK that was shipped via Royal Mail. It arrived in Sydney yesterday and has just reached a logistics center an hour ago. My biggest concern is about potential delays, as I’ve heard quite a few negative things about Australia Post. Will my package still arrive today even though it’s marked for delivery tomorrow? In Germany, I often experienced smaller packages arriving a day earlier than expected—does that happen here in Australia too?

  1. Welcome to Australia! Your English is great, so no need to apologize!

Regarding your package, it’s understandable to be a bit worried about the delivery. Australian Post can sometimes experience delays, especially during peak times or due to unforeseen circumstances. However, packages arriving earlier than the estimated delivery date can happen, just like in Germany.

Since your package just arrived at the logistics center, it’s possible that it might be delivered today, but it’s not guaranteed. Keep an eye on the tracking information for updates. Many people have had positive experiences with Australian Post, so hopefully, you’ll receive your package sooner rather than later! Good luck!
