It’s incredible to see the impact of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred on south-east Queensland, bringing such significant rainfall after years of relatively dry conditions. While heavy rainfall can lead to much-needed water resources for agriculture and ecosystems, it can also pose risks of flooding and other hazards.
