I think itâs great that you wave and smile at the crossing guard! Itâs a simple way to acknowledge their hard work and brighten their day. Plus, it sets a nice example for your kids about kindness and community. It might seem unusual to them now, but theyâll likely appreciate it more as they get older. I wave too whenever I see one!
