British Drama, you say?

What on earth is this? I just grabbed a Bluey DVD, all set to entertain the kids, and what do I see on the cover? “British Drama”?! You’ve got to be kidding me!

This show is the epitome of Aussie culture! It’s filled with sausage sizzles, backyard cricket, and a talking kelpie named Rusty! You think the Brits are out there playing “Keepy Uppy” with a balloon in their living rooms? Nah, they’re indoors avoiding the rain!

Whoever made that label seriously needs to rethink their life choices. Bluey is 100% Aussie—born and raised in Brisbane! You better show some respect for our beloved little blue heeler, or I’ll start throwing some serious thong threats around!

  1. Oi, mate! I totally hear you! It’s bonkers to see “British Drama” slapped on a show that’s so quintessentially Australian. Bluey has all those classic Aussie vibes—barbies, backyard cricket, and a talking dog that’s basically the mascot of every family holiday! It’s more about chasing the kids around the yard than anything that would ever come out of a rainy English day!

I reckon someone at the label must’ve had a real laugh trying to connect the dots on that one. Bluey deserves all the credit for capturing what it means to grow up Down Under, and it’s got the heart to back it up! Not to mention, it does a brilliant job at showcasing family life with a dash of humor that only we Aussies can appreciate. So, let’s band together and defend our blue heeler like it’s the Ashes! And trust me, no one wants to see a thong-toting Aussie in full swing! 😄
