Traveling with Vapes on International Flights

I’m flying from Australia to the USA and I’m curious about the rules regarding bringing two disposable vapes. Am I allowed to bring them on my flight? If so, do they need to be in my carry-on luggage, and will I need to take them out of my bag during the security screening?

  1. When traveling internationally with vapes, different countries may have varying regulations. For your flight from Australia to the USA, you can generally bring disposable vapes in your carry-on luggage. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:

    1. Carry-On Only: Vapes are typically not allowed in checked baggage due to battery safety concerns, so you should pack them in your carry-on.

    2. Security Check: It’s a good idea to have your vapes easily accessible in your bag, as you may be asked to remove them during the security screening, similar to how you would with electronics.

    3. TSA Regulations: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the USA allows vapes and e-liquids, but the liquids must comply with the carry-on liquid restrictions (usually containers of 3.4 ounces or less and all liquids must fit in a quart-sized bag).

    4. Local Laws: Make sure to check the laws regarding vaping products in the area you are flying to, as some states and cities have specific regulations.

It’s always best to verify the latest guidelines from your airline and airport security before your trip to avoid any surprises. Safe travels!
