Bondi Rescue
It looks like they’re performing rescues near the shore.

Are these poor shots, or is it actually risky?

  1. It can definitely appear that way! Many rescues happen close to shore, especially since many swimmers get into trouble in shallow waters due to strong currents or sudden waves. The lifeguards at Bondi know their beach well and are trained to assess the risks. It might seem dangerous, but they’re equipped to handle those situations safely. Plus, being close to shore allows for quicker rescues and minimizes risk to both the lifeguards and the swimmers. Safety is the top priority!
