Is there a way to revive Cheekies lollies?

I brought back several bags of Allen’s Cheekies from Australia last year. They’re all sealed and have an expiration date of May 2025, but somehow they’ve gone hard and a bit dry while stored in the cupboard. Is there any trick to make them softer and fresher again? Thanks for your help!

  1. You can try a few methods to refresh your Cheekies and make them softer. Here are some suggestions:

    1. Humidity Method: Place a slice of bread or a damp paper towel in an airtight container with the Cheekies for a day. The moisture from the bread or towel can help soften the lollies.

    2. Microwave: For a quick fix, you can microwave a few Cheekies for about 5-10 seconds. Be careful not to overheat them, as they can melt.

    3. Steam Method: Hold the Cheekies over steam for a few seconds. Make sure they don’t come into direct contact with water, as that could make them sticky.

    4. Freezer Trick: If you find they’re still not chewy enough, you can try freezing them for a short time and then letting them come to room temperature. This can sometimes refresh the texture.

Try one or a combination of these methods and see if it helps! Enjoy your Cheekies!
