What type of spider is this?

Last night, just as I was getting ready for bed, my phone’s flash unexpectedly turned on. I nearly jumped out of my skin when I saw this spider crawling out from behind my bed!

  1. That sounds like a really startling experience! It’s hard to identify the spider without a picture, but many people often encounter common house spiders like daddy longlegs or wolf spiders. If you’re concerned about it, you could try to capture it gently and release it outside. Just be sure to look up common spiders in your area to get a better idea of what it might be! If you have a photo, feel free to share—it could help with more accurate identification!
