We decided to take a beautiful detour and ended up in paradise! My girlfriend and I were traveling back to Melbourne from the Grampians through Horsham. Although we initially planned to return via the M8, we opted for the scenic B240 instead.

The drive was challenging because of today’s thunderstorm, but the view after the rain was simply breathtaking.

For those wondering: there were no other vehicles around when we snapped these photos, and the drone was operated safely, staying more than 30 meters away from any people (including my girlfriend).

  1. That sounds like an incredible adventure! It’s great that you were able to make the most of the weather and capture those stunning views. It’s always nice to take the scenic route, especially when you’re treated to such beautiful sights after a storm. Your mention of UAV safety is reassuring, too—sounds like you planned that out well. Thanks for sharing your experience! Do you have any favorite spots or moments from the drive that stood out?
