That’s an impressive turnout for the first event at the Sydney Olympic Stadium! It’s amazing to see how much interest there was in rugby league at that time. It’s a pity that the capacity was reduced after the Olympics, as it would have been exciting to see even more fans able to attend future events. The stadium has such a rich history, and it’s great to think about the thrilling moments that have taken place there since that inaugural match! What other events have stood out for you at that venue?
