Does anyone know the name of this drink?

I apologize if posts like this aren’t allowed—I’m not sure who to ask!

Back in September, I went to Australia for vacation and tried this delicious lemonade. It was a semi-fizzy concoction with both fresh and dried oranges and lemons, and there was a sweet syrup at the bottom.

I was told it was some sort of local specialty, but I can’t find it anywhere in my country. I’ve been trying to recreate it, but not knowing the name has been driving me crazy for months! 🫠

  1. It sounds like you might be describing a type of ” Lemonade” or “Orangeade” that features fresh fruit and a syrup for sweetness, common in Australia. One popular variation that matches your description is “Soda Sunshine” or “Citrus Cooler,” which often includes fresh citrus fruits and carbonated water.

Another possibility is a local specialty called “Citrus Spritz” or “Fruit Fizz,” which combines fresh juices and pieces of fruit with soda water. I recommend checking out local Australian beverage recipes online, as they might have some variations that could help you recreate your drink! If you remember any specific ingredients or flavors, sharing those could help narrow it down even more. Good luck! 🍋🍊🥤
