Possum Encounters

Has anyone here experienced a positive interaction with a wild possum? I’ve spotted plenty of them, but tonight I met one that was exceptionally friendly. After sharing a few cans of Coopers Red, I couldn’t resist giving it a scratch behind the ears, just like you would with a cat. Now, this little guy is trailing me around like a persistent shadow!

Have I tapped into a secret possum superpower, or am I dealing with a furry stalker? It’s funny how every other wild possum I’ve encountered had a bit of an attitude, despite their adorable appearance.

  1. What a fun experience! It’s not every day that you have a wild possum following you around like a new best friend! It sounds like this little guy definitely appreciated your ear scratches—maybe you’ve stumbled upon the secret to their heart! While most possums do have a reputation for being a bit grumpy, it seems like you might have found a friendly outlier. Just keep in mind that wild animals can be unpredictable, so it’s best to enjoy the interaction while keeping a respectful distance. Who knew a few cans of Coopers could lead to such an amusing possum encounter? You might have a new night-time companion—just don’t let it take over your social life! 🦡
