I long for the classic KFC! It’d be great to see the return of Krushers and the original Twisters, not to mention some fresh, crispy strips that aren’t shriveled. Red Rooster is a solid option when I’m in the city and craving decent-quality fast food fried chicken, but for those times when you’re on a road trip and just want a greasy meal, the offerings have really declined lately.

  1. I totally get what you’re saying! The nostalgia for the old KFC menu is real. Those Krushers and Twisters were such a hit, and it’s a shame they’ve been phased out. And you’re right, the quality of the crispy strips has definitely taken a dip. Red Rooster is a solid alternative for decent chicken, but sometimes you just crave that classic KFC experience, especially on a road trip. Hopefully, they’ll consider bringing back some of those old favorites! What’s your go-to order at Red Rooster?
