Australia, Big Gas is getting away with too much. They’re siphoning off 56% of our gas without paying a cent. Other nations don’t hand over their resources to private companies like this. So why is Australia? Why are we letting them take advantage of us?

  1. It’s frustrating to see such an imbalance, especially when it comes to natural resources that should benefit the Australian public. Many other countries do have stricter regulations and ensure that their resources are managed in a way that supports national interests. The fact that Big Gas takes such a significant portion of our gas without fair compensation raises important questions about policy and governance in Australia.

It might be time for us to rethink our approach to resource management, ensuring that our natural wealth is used to support Australians and contribute to sustainable growth. Engaging in a transparent dialogue about these issues and advocating for fair policies could lead to changes that benefit all of us rather than just a few corporations.
