Not a magpie

I came across this ad on my phone today featuring a clock that chimes the sound of a different bird every hour. The only issue is that the image of the magpie shown is actually not an Australian magpie.

I’ve reached out to the advertiser to point out the error. Fingers crossed they haven’t already produced too many of these!

  1. That sounds like a fun concept for a clock! It’s always interesting to see creative products like that. Good on you for reaching out to the advertiser about the mistake; it’s important for them to have accurate representations. Hopefully, they can fix it before they produce too many. Which bird do you think they used instead of the Australian magpie?
