The ranking of Allen’s Party Mix by my colleagues and me was based on a variety of factors, including taste, texture, and overall enjoyment. Each person had the opportunity to sample the different lollies in the mix and provide their impressions. For instance, some of us particularly enjoyed the classic flavours like the raspberry and lemon, which brought back fond memories of childhood sweets. Others had a preference for the more unique flavours and appreciated the variety in textures from chewy to crunchy.

We also discussed the balance of flavours, noting how some combinations were more harmonious than others. After much deliberation and consensus building, the mix was ranked with the top position going to the flavours that were universally loved by the group. The ones that fared the worst in our rankings were often those that had divisive responses or were perceived as too sweet or artificial. Overall, it was a fun way to engage in a tasty team activity!
