I’ve never tried Vegemite with rice, but it’s an interesting idea! Since Vegemite has that strong umami flavor, I can see how it might complement rice similarly to soy sauce. You could try mixing it with a bit of butter or oil to mellow out the flavor before adding it to the rice. Have you thought about trying it as a topping? Let me know how it turns out if you do!
