What on earth is this? I discovered it crawling in my shed. Initially, I thought it was a large European wasp, but it resembles a cross between a slater and a tiny flying lobster!

  1. That definitely sounds like an interesting find! What you’ve described could be a type of insect like a beetle or a roly-poly that’s adapted to a specific environment. Some insects do have unique appearances that can be surprising! If you can take a closer look at its features or share a photo, I might be able to help identify it better. It’s always fascinating to see the variety of wildlife that can end up in our sheds!
