Union or League for Young Players
I want to start by acknowledging that every parent believes their child has star potential, but I genuinely see talent in my 8-year-old son when it comes to rugby. He’s currently playing union, but I’m contemplating whether he might have better opportunities in league, especially given its popularity in Australia. Right now, the playing styles of both codes aren’t too different for his age group, but I know that will evolve as he grows. I’d love to hear any insights or opinions on this.
