Homemade Space Food Sticks Recipe
Ingredients:
Instructions:
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the powdered milk, oats, cocoa powder (if using), and salt.
Add Wet Ingredients: Add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.
Form the Mixture: The mixture will be sticky. You can use your hands or a spatula to press it into a rectangle or square shape on a piece of parchment paper, about 1/2 inch thick.
Chill: Place the pressed mixture in the refrigerator for at least an hour to firm up.
Cut into Sticks: Once chilled, remove from the fridge, and cut into stick shapes or desired sizes.
Store: Keep the Space Food Sticks in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Feel free to add any extras like dried fruit, nuts, or protein powder for a personal touch. I hope your mom loves them! Happy birthday to her!
