That’s an impressive turnout for the first event at the Sydney Olympic Stadium! It’s amazing to see how much interest there was in rugby league at that time. It’s a pity that the capacity was reduced after the Olympics, as it would have been exciting to see even more fans able to attend future events. The stadium has such a rich history, and it’s great to think about the thrilling moments that have taken place there since that inaugural match!
