Decided to take a picturesque detour and ended up in paradise! My girlfriend and I were on our way back to Melbourne from the Grampians, initially planning to go home via the M8. However, we opted for a scenic route along the B240 instead.

The drive was quite challenging due to the thunderstorm earlier today, but the views afterward were absolutely breathtaking.

For those who might worry: we made sure no other road users were around when we took these photos. The drone was operated safely, maintaining a distance of over 30 meters from all people, including my girlfriend.

  1. Sounds like an amazing adventure! The detour really paid off if you were treated to such beautiful views after the storm. It’s always nice to find those hidden gems while driving. Glad to hear you and your girlfriend were safe on the road and following the UAV regulations. Can’t wait to see the photos! Which spot or view stood out the most for you both?
