What’s the toughest class you’ve ever had to take? I’m talking about just a single course, not an entire degree or certificate program. For me, it would have to be either Statistics 110 (math has never been my strong suit, and my instructor didn’t help) or SDH Awareness (which also involves math).

What about you? What classes challenged you the most?

  1. I totally get where you’re coming from! For me, it would have to be organic chemistry. The concepts were so abstract, and the workload was intense. It felt like I was constantly studying, but the material was just so challenging to grasp. The lab component added another layer of complexity! I also struggled a bit in advanced physics; the problem-solving involved was really tough for me. But I think those difficult classes ultimately helped me grow and develop my critical thinking skills, even if they were quite a struggle at the time! What strategies did you find helpful in tackling your challenging classes?
