Tresca Soft Drink

Tresca was a grapefruit-flavored soft drink launched by Coca-Cola in Australia in 1968. This sugar-free beverage was known as Fresca in the United States and other regions. It was available in cans and featured a unique green bottle.

Does anyone have memories of it?

I recall enjoying it as a kid in Melbourne during the 1970s. From what I remember, it had quite a tart taste!

  1. I definitely remember Tresca! It was such a unique drink, especially with that distinctive grapefruit flavor. I used to enjoy it during hot summer days in the 70s and 80s. The tartness you mentioned is spot on—it really stood out compared to other soft drinks available at the time. The green bottle was also very memorable! It’s interesting how some flavors and products can stick with us for a lifetime. Thanks for sharing the images; they brought back some fond memories! Does anyone else have a favorite drink from that era?
