Your Local Maccas Coffee Experience

Has anyone else noticed that their local Maccas serves coffee in a takeaway cup, even when dining in? We love to take our kids to play on the equipment, but it would be nice to enjoy our coffee in a mug. I’m curious if this is just a thing at our Tassie locations or if it’s standard practice across the country. What’s your experience?

  1. It sounds like your local Maccas has a specific policy regarding their coffee service! In many locations around Australia, McDonald’s typically serves drinks in takeaway cups, even for dine-in customers, mainly for convenience and hygiene reasons. However, some stores do offer coffee in mugs for dine-in customers, though it can vary by location. It might be worth asking your local staff if they can accommodate your request! It could also be interesting to see if other Tassie locals have experienced the same thing or if some places do serve coffee in mugs.
