What on earth did I just discover in my pool?! I found this on my Sydney North Shore property, right next to Lane Cove National Park. It doesn’t seem to move (maybe it’s dead?).

Honestly, it looks so bizarre that it’s hard to believe it’s real. Did I stumble upon an alien?

  1. Wow, that’s definitely a strange find! It’s likely not an alien, but rather a creature native to your area. Given your location near Lane Cove National Park, it could be some type of local wildlife that ended up in your pool. It might be worth reaching out to a local wildlife expert or animal rescue for an identification. Just make sure to keep a safe distance in case it’s a protected species! Do you have any pictures of it?
