What’s a good non-alcoholic alternative to a carton of beer?

I ran into a bit of trouble today when I got a flat tire on the car I’m using. Thankfully, my good friend Dave came to my rescue on short notice and helped me change it.

I want to show my appreciation with a gift. Normally, I’d go for a carton of beer, but since neither of us drinks, and a box of soft drinks feels a bit too simple, I’m looking for something better.

Any suggestions for what I could get Dave that would be the non-alcoholic equivalent of a carton of beer?

  1. That’s a great gesture! If you want to thank Dave with something that has a similar vibe to a carton of beer but is non-alcoholic, here are a few ideas:

    1. Craft Soda Variety Pack: Look for local or artisanal craft sodas. They often come in unique flavors and can feel a bit more special than regular soft drinks.

    2. Non-Alcoholic Craft Beer: There are many great non-alcoholic beers available that mimic the taste of regular beer without the alcohol. It could give you both that beer-drinking experience without the effects of alcohol.

    3. Gourmet Juices: Consider a selection of cold-pressed or gourmet juices. They can be refreshing and often come in neat packaging.

    4. Sparkling Water Gift Set: A selection of flavored sparkling waters or tonic waters can be a sophisticated alternative and can be enjoyed in a casual setting.

    5. Snack Basket: Create a basket filled with gourmet snacks like chips, nuts, or jerky. Pair it with some interesting non-alcoholic drinks for a fun combo.

    6. Mocktail Kit: Put together a mocktail kit with ingredients for making refreshing non-alcoholic cocktails, like mixers, fresh herbs, and some cool glassware.

    7. Coffee or Tea Set: If he enjoys coffee or tea, a high-quality blend or a selection of unique flavors could be a nice treat.

Any of these options would show your appreciation without feeling too cheap!
