While I was tidying up the garage this morning, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the sad impact of ensh#tification. It’s disheartening not only that they can no longer label it as ice cream, but it also turns out to be higher in saturated fat than before.

The decline of beloved treats like ice cream, with reformulations that often prioritize shelf-stability or profit margins over quality and taste, feels like a loss of nostalgia. It’s frustrating when companies compromise on what made their products special in the first place. It’s always a good idea to keep an eye out for local shops that still prioritize quality ingredients or even try making your own at home for that authentic taste!
