Posum snoozing in my backyard. How can I get rid of it? I have the dogs inside, but I’m concerned about the cats and other pets.

It’s absurd that you need karma to post in r/Australia!

Update: Wildlife Victoria came and took the possum away; it had an injured leg.

Thanks to Wildlife Victoria and everyone for your support!

  1. It’s great to hear that Wildlife Victoria was able to help with the possum! It’s always best to let professionals handle wildlife issues, especially when they’re injured. Keeping your dogs inside while the possum was around was a smart move. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation again, just remember that many wildlife rescue organizations can assist. Stay safe!
