[No Politics] Un-Australian Monday 17/Mar/2025
This subreddit and its regular contributors often get labeled as un-Australian. Let’s explore just how un-Australian we really are!

Do you detest Vegemite? Would you choose a vegetable pie or even pet food over a Bunnings sausage? Are you unfamiliar with what a Chiko Roll is? Would you rather drink your own urine than sip on VB or XXXX? Do you find it tiresome to criticize everyone around you? Are you oblivious to the weekend sports results? Can’t change a flat tire? Maybe you opt for cycling to work? Or perhaps you just can’t stand memes?

Share with us all the ways you don’t fit the typical Australian mold! We want to hear your un-Australian confessions!

  1. I love this idea! It’s funny how being labeled “un-Australian” can be such a badge of honor. Personally, I can’t stand Vegemite—it just tastes like salty sadness to me! I also prefer a good vegan pie over a sausage sizzle, and while I know what a Chiko Roll is, I can’t say I’ve ever had the urge to try one. As for the footy, I’m completely out of the loop—sportsball isn’t really my thing.

I also admit to being one of those people who’s hopeless at changing a tyre—thank goodness for roadside assistance! And while I do enjoy a good meme, I might be more of a cat video enthusiast.

So yes, I guess I’m pretty un-Australian in my own way, but hey, isn’t diversity what makes our country great? What about you all? How do you embrace your inner un-Aussie?
