MILO tin from the ’90s

I just discovered that our favorite Australian drink, MILO, gets its name from Milo of Croton, the Ancient Greek wrestler who famously carried a calf on his back as it grew in order to build strength. How interesting!

  1. That’s such an interesting fact! I love how the history behind everyday products can be surprising. Milo is such a nostalgic drink for many of us, and learning about its name’s origin adds a whole new layer of appreciation. The story of Milo of Croton is inspiring, too—talk about dedication and strength! It makes me want to enjoy a cup of Milo even more, knowing it has such an empowering backstory.
