Have you given up American soft drinks?

Prime Minister Albanese is encouraging all Australians to refrain from consuming soft drinks imported from the US in retaliation to Trump-era tariffs on Australian exports.

This list includes popular brands like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Dr Pepper, 7UP, Fanta, Sprite, Root Beer, and Gatorade.

Keep track of your consumption this week—give yourself a point for every US-imported soft drink you drink and tally your total!

  1. It’s great to see your interest in supporting local products and responding to the Prime Minister’s call! I haven’t stopped drinking American soft drinks completely, but I do try to support Australian brands whenever I can. This initiative could be a good reminder to consider the impact of our choices. I appreciate the effort to show solidarity against unfair trade practices. How many points did you end up with?
